Oracle: Goddess Derceto
Book: Ishtar of the Starry Heavens

Invocation:
Holy Goddess Derceto, Daughter of Tiamat of the darkness of space, laughing mother of mermaids, yet Creator of storms that wreck us, help us to have humility by honouring the Holy Unknown.

Oracle:
You do well to pray for humility! Every age has a flaw, which may prove fatal. The errors of the past Piscean age of faith, led to a blind obedience, which resulted in a nightmare of cruelty and oppression. True, the unknown was respected, feared: but a supposed cruel and unreasonable Deity was invented to explain the vagaries of nature. To propitiate such Deities, all free thought and knowledge were suppressed. So the resulting civilisation, despite its fruits in the Arts and through Charity, is crumbling.

But the disastrous error of this scientific age is arrogance, a presumptuous belief, unproven, that spiritual realities do not exist.  And the more the intellectual brain is over-stimulated, the more the psychic doorway closes.  First the choice is to rule on earth rather than serve in the Heavens. But later, the doors of spiritual perception close, and Heaven is lost. It is for you who hearken to me to open them again, not only for yourselves, but for everyone else! Animal souls are with us already.

Oracle: Goddess Pallas Athena

Book: Panthea, Initiations and Festivals of the Goddess

Invocation:

Pallas Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, come to me now that I may be inspired by Thy Divine Spirit! Endow us with Thy Wisdom and Thy Might that Thy ancient glories may once more shine before the world!

Oracle:

It has been written that the Iron Age should prevail over the earth bringing with it suffering, toil and evil, through neglect of the Deities. Its darkness is not the holy night of the Owl of Wisdom, but the limitation of ignorance. Its light is the transient glow, that comes from superficial knowledge gained from curious probing rather than the spiritual illumination that emanates from the Deities. It was not necessary for the world of men to choose the Age of Iron; but Destiny that the choice be offered. For what goodness is there in worshipping the Gods and Goddesses when they reveal themselves easily to all? It is simple to satisfy curiosity, but the labour of years of experience to gain wisdom! Sentiment is pleasant but passing: the warmth of love is ever-renewing.

Understand the meaning of what I am, and you will gain comprehension of your own lives and destiny. I am not divided against myself: Bright Pallas with her Spear of Light does not war with the Dark Owl of Night. Nor do the terrible flames of the Inner Sun that are veiled upon my shield attack Athena, the Teacher of philosophy and the arts. I am Holy. Be ye Holy. Be at peace within yourselves and cease from your philosophical warring! In verity the catastrophes of the Iron Age are due to deep division between mortals and the Deities: between mankind and nature: and between differing ideas which are but the quivering reflections of absolute truth.

The veil upon my Shield is beginning to wear thin, and the glory of the Rays of Medusa become apparent to earthly gaze! The inner power of the atom has been violently exposed, and reduces the physical body to the shadow which in verity it is. My Spear of Light brings Divine Inspiration to the mind, while my owl carries messages of warning from the dark Rulers of the universe, which will be known to be what it is: whole and perfect. On your troubled earth mortals struggle and learn through harsh experience to put on Immortality: which in truth is latent in each creature. A bird knows more of Elysium than doth mankind! Do not reject any aspect of the universe, but recognise it as part of a glorious pleroma in which even suffering and evil are transformed through wisdom into good. Listen for my voice. I speak in the silence.

Oracle of the Month - June

Oracle: The Goddess Nana Buluku
Book: "Melusina, Life Centres of the Goddess"

Invocation:
Divine Mother of all, Nana Buluku, Thou art invoked by innumerable Names throughout the Universe. Bring us courage, vitality and strength, that we may accomplish our Destiny! We would enact the Divine Will to bring good to all.

Oracle:
You have a short life span, shorter than that of an elephant but longer than a gnat's! Therefore to fulfil your Destiny you need to be free from the trammels of your space and time and touch the glory of Eternity. To do this you need to develop your Sun Body within you. Centred in the Sovereign Sun, you will then command a wider range of space and time, and hold sway over those planets that are the spiritual centres within your soul bodies.

Each sun centre within all creatures is connected with the Sovereign Sun, your star. Thus the Greater is shown forth in the lesser. Know that every spiritual centre within your etheric bodies has a twin, thus producing balance between Goddess and God. Thus the Solar Plexus Centre with its golden glow, has a powerful concealed twin a little above and behind it. This may be termed the Hidden Sun, the Goddess-Roots of the outer God-Sunflower. To achieve strength with gentleness, power with compassion, taking and giving, you need to have these twins in harmony. You may feel this Goddess Sun as a glow in your spine above your waist. Its colour is red and gold, and it controls the flowing streams of energy that connect your spiritual body with the Universe.

Although the gaining of Vitality is essential, you need to focus your energy, lest you dissipate your life in aimless adventurings. However, even if you receive intimation of your Destiny, you may misuse your newly gained power through forcing your will upon others. This is the hazard of awakening the Solar Plexus Centre. It is here that the Inner Sun centre helps. This is connected with luminous threads with all those around you, whether these be angels, humans, animals or trees. With this flow of inter-communion, you cannot become powercrazed, believing that only your own Path, however excellent, is the only way to follow.

It might appear safer not to awaken the Solar Plexus Centre at all! But humans are no coward souls. Go forward and gain the Victory.

Oracle: The Goddess Ceridwen
Booklet: Sophia, Cosmic Consciousness of the Goddess

Invocation:
Goddess of Inspiration, Goddess of Creation, come to our aid, we entreat you! We are parched and bored, devoid of fantasy and prophecy, for we dwell in a waste land of machines that calculate and statistics that diminish our souls. Restore to us the days of our innocent childhood!

Oracle:
Far beyond the world of the cold mind and the stony heart, yet closer than the breath in a frosty dawn is Hy Brasil, the Many-Coloured Land of Heart's Desire! There is the Cauldron of Creation, guarded by three great stone circles, and beyond the circles is the sorrowful waste land of earth in which you dwell. There the lost soul, torn with doubt and fear, having turned away from the Mother, plays endless games of the mind. He adds one to one and two to two, yet never, calculate as he may, achieves infinity! For Infinity is beyond number and calculation and is as near the first as it is to the last. And the Voyager to the future in space and time ever returns, faery-bound, to his own starting point. Only when he calls to Deity for help can he be saved from his mind-formed prison.

Remove from My Cauldron of Creation the three magical drops of Inspiration, Originality and Imagination - and you are left with a poisonous residue of stale thought, soulless regulations and death-bringing orthodoxy. Return to the Matrix which is greater than the limited world about you! Travel far to achieve My Chalice, and endure with courage the ordeals which test your quality. Do not be led astray by false humility, which surrenders your birth-right of free choice to the commands of others. For even those travellers who have found the Grael are not able to share it with their fellows! For this is the Law, that each must achieve divine inspiration in solitude through service. Know that even I, Ceridwen, was not able to bestow the gifts of the Spirit upon My Divine Son. Rather did a mortal, such as yourselves, receive my gifts of the Spirit. And mark that the boy was given inspiration unexpectedly without seeking for it, during the course of his daily work! And he fled in terror, comprehending neither Me nor his great destiny.

In many lives, in many forms, the soul flees from My embrace, Who am the Universal Mother, She Who gives birth and death to all beings. In verity my Cauldron is both the womb and the tomb. For only through birth and death may the soul partake of My Grael and so receive the Elixir of Life.

Gain courage. Cherish humility. Be original: respect the originality of others. Use your imagination: yet know that all you visualise manifests in some sphere; so let your visions be true and noble. When you achieve My Grael you will find Hy Brasil all around you: in the room where you dream: in the bird-filled tree outside your open window: in the eyes of all who love you.

Invocation:
Noble Goddess Brynhilde, You restored goodness to the earth by winning the golden Ring of Power with Your Spear of Light: You restored the ring to its true home with the innocent Rhine Maidens. Help us to have courage and compassion: activity with peacefulness. So may we like You attain Heaven, the true Valhalla, by destroying its false image.

Oracle:
Without conflict there is no progress. Each one of you in bodily form, whether human, animal or plant, have your divine essence derived from the Mother of All. You have consented to be born in this forum of learning which you call a planet. In verity what you know of your earth is only a shadow projection of its myriad forms, sped forth from the constellations of Light, Aries and Leo. Treat this existence with its cycle of births and deaths as a Mystery Drama in which you act, while your true Self is ever the same - in Heaven. Each day you are given choice and every choice has a consequence, good or bad. Even a bad choice may bring greater reward than a just one, if it leads to wisdom won from experience.

Whatever happens, never forget to laugh! The ancient Hall of the Valiant, Valhalla, fell not only from greed and cruelty, but also from a creeping death of dogma! Humans progress through becoming lively, not deathly. You may choose to protect victims with the Spear of Light, as I did. Or you may lie asleep as I did, in mystic trance on a rock, protected by magic fire. Whichever way you travel on life's journey, I call you to live richly, by achieving physical and moral courage. So shall you awaken as I did from my rock, to restore spiritual gold to all.

Oracle: The Goddess Alma Mater

Invocation:
Ave Alma Mater! We honour you as Mother of us all. Help us to return to our eternal Home, bringing our harvest of good lives. Bless the children you entrust to our care.

Oracle:
Every baby is born with a little flame shining over its head. This comes from its spirit body. But as the child grows older, the flame is well-nigh extinguished by the demands of worldly life. But it sometimes happens that the flame does not die down, but rather increases! The child is aureoled with rays of power and beauty. All unknowingly the girl or boy inflicts pain on its elders, by reason of the strange ideas and feelings the rays bring. So in past ages the elders sometimes persecuted such young people and even now they try to extinguish such hurtful Light. This is understandable: for what ruler welcomes his successor?

But there is no need for the worldly-minded to dread occult forces radiated by such children. These elders have enriched humanity with sciences and laws. Under the Patriarch they have ruled the world. What is good in the old laws and behaviour will last.

Nonetheless a new era is dawning swiftly! When a race is faced with self-wrought destruction, inspired mutation can take place. The Gates between the psychic and material spheres are opening! A new humanity is being born. More and more spiritually and psychically gifted children are coming into incarnation. Some are the old ones transformed: others come from the stars. But heed well my warning! A human being without any such occult gifts, but who lives a good life under Patriarchal law, is more pleasing to Deity than a vain and power-drunk "Spiritual Master".

So you need to foster in your children, whatever their gifts, a concern for every being as part of my Cosmic Family. Throughout all spheres, within all galaxies and planets, I am shown forth originally in every creature, every atom. Manifold are my aspects: no creature is to be dreaded nor despised. Respect the unique quality in every God and animal and plant, including your family! Also respect yourself for your own originality which is Divine.

Whenever a new age manifests, I am reborn in all those who know me. I weep for your sufferings, which yet brings you needful experience. When you are happy, I rejoice. I work through your good deeds. My love is with you always.

Oracle: The Goddess Ariadne

Invocation:
Wise Ariadne of the deep sea, High Fruitful Mother of the Barley, thou whose starry crown of Thetis shines in the heavens, bring us thy guidance. Skilful weaver of the shining thread of Life that holds all spheres in patterned beauty, inspire us with thy wisdom! Thou who art above the Labyrinth of the mind, aid us in our thought. For thou, daughter of Truth art wed with fiery Dionysus of the fruitful vine, and so from Truth and Love bring all creatures into harmony.

Oracle:
When you are young, you seek that which is like yourself. And you reject the non-self and call it your enemy. But when you grow into maturity, you seek the not-self, for in this is your completion. And so through reconciliation with the enemy comes creation. For the votary of high spiritual Truth needs the warm glory of the Lover, lest she freezes into an ice maiden. And the Lover, demoniac in his passions, seeks the Ice Maiden that will still his ardour. And between these two comes the harmony of the spheres.

As you face the gateway into birth you receive my shining cord. But as you penetrate deeper and still deeper into the Labyrinth of time and space, the thread becomes thinner, more ghostly. For as you remember my thread, it becomes strong; and when you forget it, it wanes. As you move through the years you leave behind you a spiral pattern of the thread, that brings you memory of your true being. Yet you look ahead and see no light: the light is behind you.

When you reach the nadir of the Labyrinth, and face that which you most fear, you may drop the thread. But fear not! I am always with you, though you see me not. I am Conscience, and my Mother is Nature and my Father is Philosophy. Call upon me and I shall aid you: so are you saved by my grace, and not by your own will. And this must be. For who would be saved through the separate self, rather than be aided by the Immortal Beloved!

So you return through the mazy windings of the Labyrinth, but now you face the cord and it gleams before you like my Silver Snake. And when you reach the entrance of the Double Axe, you soar above the Maze and look down upon it. And now you see the meaning of the pattern, and enjoy its beauty. And you aid others who lose their way in it as you did, and lead them to their goal.

Oracle: The Goddess Isis

Invocation:
Isis of Ten Thousand Names, who protecteth the soul with thy feathery wings of the Kite; whose blood, enchantments and power strengthen the soul; inspire us with thy breath of the West Wind. Winged Goddess who concealeth thy brow with thy long hair, spread thy hair of enchantment and shake it over the brow of thy Devotees. Breathe into us thy Breath of life and health and strength.

Oracle:
It is through Inspiration that you live. Without Inspiration you are as dead, devoid of the Holy Breath. Do not deceive yourselves. You cannot live forever shut in the mummy-cases of your own fantasies, however colourful they are, however compelling. For without Inspiration the colours will dim, the power lessen. No amount of stimulation from your thought or from your senses, no act of will can then bring Life. You will slowly sink into unconsciousness and, as your dreams become nightmares, you yourselves will fall victims to your self-created images of fear.

Draw upon the Breath of Isis, which is wafted to you and all beings through the rhythmic beating of her wings. This Holy Breath may not be concealed, conserved, kept imprisoned in one place, within one person - even within one God or Goddess. It is for all. And as it is for all, it brings all. Open yourselves to the wind of Inspiration, and you lose nothing but the hardening case of a coffin of outworn theologies and cramping laws. Instead, you will gain the riches of Eternity and make better theologies, nobler laws. Allow Truth to cleanse your minds as a strong wind brings renewal. For Truth expresses herself as new understanding and she may not be bound or blindfolded. This courage to face the unveiled Truth means that you lose the sleep of nonentity. You breathe freely, you open your eyes fearlessly: you sit; you stand; then with the wings of Horus you fly with me. You use the many-coloured winding-sheet of dreams that once bound you as a robe that you wear at will.

Oracle: The Goddess Nemesis

Invocation:
I invoke the aid of the Goddess Nemesis, worshipped as Fate in Attica, foster-mother of Helen of Sparta, Mistress even of the Gods. How may we obey the Divine Decrees of reward and retribution when we lack wisdom? We fight over what is good and what is evil. Veiled Nemesis, have pity on our blindness!

Oracle:
Look within yourself and you will find the Divine Law of Goodness written in your soul. No one may escape Fate, whether he be god or human, animal or tree.

This earth is a careful game created by the Deities. Each creature learns through the experiences of joy and pain; love and hate; life and death. Evolving animals and plants discover where to grow, what to eat, how to survive. All nature follows the path of love which reproduces itself through desire. Strength is developed for defence against predators. It is not always the mighty that exist the longest! Powerful reptiles perished through immobility inflicted by heavy armour, while lively little mammals learnt to evade capture through swiftness. This skill at survival leads to wisdom, which is not restricted to philosophers! The migration of birds over the oceans is directed by necessity and the lesson is well learnt. No human state is as organised as an ant-hill.

Animals, plants and even rocks cooperate with the Deities Who are guardians and gardeners of this planet. Earth's creatures sense the invisible presence of spirits who guide their progress to more beautiful manifestation. Humanity in its early struggles had empathy with us, the Titans and the Olympians. But now overspecialisation in intellect and analysis has eroded psychic vision and telepathy. The only ethical resource left to the materialist is conscience, not always heeded.

The time has come when We Deities reveal ourselves not only to simple shepherds and young girls, but to thousands. We did not do this before because we did not wish to be worshipped. It is difficult to have an intelligent conversation with someone prostrated, head on the ground, their behind in the air! True, there is a hierarchy of evolving beings, but all from God to mouse are equal in essence: all born of the Divine Matrix. You ask for guidance as to the difference between good and evil. The practice is simple. When you ask in your mind - listen! Be still. The answer lies in the beauty, goodness and truth that is all around you, unnoticed.

Receive the blessings of the Olympians who love each one of you.

Oracle: The Goddess Morrigan

Invocation:
Triple Goddess Who are Maid and Queen and Enchantress: red-robed wife to the Dagda, fiery God of Mars: raven-tressed Prophetess with the river of life and death flowing about Thy feet: come to us with Thy Power.

Oracle:
Seek the prophetic gifts and all else will be added to you. For in My future lies both My present and My past; for the greater contains the lesser: and in my great age of aeons lies My youth and My Queenship. To hold the Sword of the Ruler is good, but it is wisdom that declares how the sword should be used. And it is the compassion of the Virgin that sheathes the sword. The hollow of the scabbard contains the sword, as the womb of the Mother contains the Kingly warrior. So if you would be great, look before you into your future, for there you shall be in your fullness and completion, ruler of many selves. And fore-knowledge even of Doom teaches the inevitable sequence of cause and effect, the result of good and evil actions: so that you will learn to pursue a virtuous and honourable course in life. Knowledge of my secret of sudden death brings understanding of your own immortality. My Right Foot stands firm upon the earth, as I stand over the dividing river of Life and Death; and my left Foot is rooted in the Land of the Sidhe and the world of spirits: yet am I ever the same.

If you see Me in my innocent youth washing your clothes from all stain and sorrow, do not be afraid, but cross by the stepping stones of My ford to the other world: know that those who accept Me may return again safely to earthly life. Return because you must, as I call you to arduous service in the world, where I am Queen. As such I am both wife and mother, and desire that the earth should be replenished with my children.

But when I appear to you as the Ancient One, your Initiation is nigh. Then you too will feel the inner Fire and shall prophecy. And people will flee from you as they flee from Me, for the children of men fear enchantment more than they fear pain and death. But for you, enchantment will draw forth your greater being which is immortal.

Oracle: The Goddess Muth

Invocation:
Divine Muth, Mother of all beings, come to our hearts! Inspire us with wisdom and compassion, so that at the last we may dwell in Thy everlasting habitations overshadowed by thy Wings.

Oracle:
In verity the two lands of earth and after-life are One. They are only separated by the blindness of the ignorant. Day and Night are One. Sun and Moon are One, Man and Woman are One. The inner sun which shineth within the depths of the earth is One with the Sun in Heaven. Every heart is united with all hearts through the spheres with the warmth of Love. Yet every being and atom calleth to the others through unique quality that is its essence.

But discord destroys peace and joy through this very Love, when it becomes distorted into obsessive passion. It strikes through narrow devotion to family and nation, but it is at its most evil when it consumes the soul with religious fanaticism. Devotees so deluded will torture and kill those who will not accept the object of their worship.

My children of ancient Egypt saw Deity in the Many. They recognised innate divinity in cats and dogs and hippopotami, through beetles and crocodiles and rivers. As the intellect brought separation of man and nature, men found the Path of the One Light: they acknowledged the Many as emanating from the One. This satisfied mind and heart. Both ways of approaching reality have brought many to everlasting joy. Yet both have caused great evil, through abuse by overemphasis. Those who worshipped the Many in a mindless way degenerated. They became dissipated and lost strength of directed mind and purpose. After them came the followers of the One, whether the One God or Mind: these through unbalanced ideals killed millions of their fellows in the name of love and justice.

The Deities always provide an antidote to poison. And the antidote to obsessive devotion, whether to a person or to a country, to a religion or to an ideal, is to face the truth. This is not easy. If facts contradict long-held feelings and opinions, a man would rather die than accept them. Such people regard Truth as ugly and shun it. They are terrified of the unknown. For them the Goddess is shrouded in black night. Yet if they had the courage to unveil Her, they would see the beautiful countenance of Truth. Instead they pursue Love, thrusting aside all that stands in their way. Inevitably they are consumed by violence and insanity. Love must be approached with humility.

Let Love and Truth be brought into that Sacred Marriage which bringeth forth harmony.

Oracle: The Goddess Sekhmet

Invocation:
Mighty Goddess Sekhmet, Who with Your Inner Sun bestows life blood throughout the universe, help us to transmute our passions into Your Divine Gold.

Oracle:
You need gold to create gold. But however hard you try, you will not attain the Inner Sun by ministering to your own ambition. An obsession to be a Spiritual Leader works in reverse. In digging for such fools' gold, you dig your own grave. To gaze directly on the earthly sun blinds you. But it is far more dangerous to steal the rays of the Inner Sun. Spiritual blindness is the punishment.

How then may the seeker attain the goal of Divine Awareness? The answer is simple. Watch shadows! My Gold is not to be seized upon by greedy hands, but shows itself in humble places. It reveals its loveliness in the sound of doves in a wood: moonlight on a pool; cubs playing in their earth. My Nature has its hidden symbols to guide you on your way.

Discover the Inner Sun in those who seem devoid of goodness. It is easy to accept yourself; hard to appreciate the treasure concealed in others whom you find repellent. Most people condemn wrong doers. But the Spiritual Alchemist uncovers good in someone obsessed by evil. Honour such hidden splendour and you yourselves will shine forth as stars!

Oracle of the Month - October

Oracle: The Goddess Kwan Yin

Invocation:
Divine Mother of all beings, Whose heart is open to those in need, come to us! When men, women and their children were starving from drought in Ancient China, secretly Thou didst go to their barren rice fields, and with milk drawn from Thy breasts Thou didst replenish the withered ears of rice. In this hour of earth's need, aid us to feed all on earth!

Oracle:
Truly, My children, your greatest need is not for earthly sustenance, but for spiritual food. The equipoise between heaven and earth has been unbalanced, and the Deities can no longer easily commune with humankind.

Know that there is a spiritual milk that courses through all creatures and upon which every being depends for its life. This elixir is to earthly gaze invisible, not to be seen nor felt. Yet without its health-giving flow you wither and perish. This is the peach-juice of immortality, the Elixir of Life.

When this pure flow of celestial milk becomes clogged and contaminated, you experience loss of creativity, evil emotions and a craving for stimulants. No longer can the golden power of Yin and the silver power of Yang bring you the ecstasy of Love and Truth! Together these two forces form the Tree of Life within your own bodies, and the Peaches of Immortality are the fruits thereof. But the Forces cannot manifest unless they flow through the white river of plasma, Prana, which should freely circulate through you.

This milky plasma, which may be termed "Yin" in relation to animating Spiritual Fire, may be freed from the pollution of ugly thoughts and emotions by regulated breathing, dance movements and the intoning of Mantras. In-breathing and out-breathing need to be in balance. Left and right sides of the body should be brought into harmony by graceful movements. The arts of painting and music cleanse plasma through appreciation of beauty.

Visualise yourself as either Myself or the Boddhisattva Maitreya! Be seated as we are upon a lotus, floating upon the surface of a tranquil lake. But this exquisite water-lily has a thick slimy stem and its roots are deeply embedded in mud. Do not despise the earth and its elements, for it is from the earth that you grow. Now feel the golden sun within the moon-like petals of the lotus shine within your hearts! When you feel a warm glow radiating within you, you will love as I do, and through your love you will bring happiness, compassion and creativity to all those within your sphere. Omm Shanti. Peace be with you.

Oracle: The Goddess Terra

Invocation:
Holy Mother of us all, we dwell by Thy sufferance upon the wide earth: all creatures that fly and run and swim are under Thy sway. The sacred elements of Earth form Thy Body and Thy mighty aura encompasses us as a protective veil. But now we dread the destruction we wreak upon Thy Being. Aid us to change the hearts of those who destroy Thy children and Thy life.

Oracle:
Fear not for Me! For if, through immature folly, my destructive sons break my crust irretrievably, causing my inner fires to erupt, for Me this would be a glorious rebirth into a greater orbit! I should encircle the sun in splendour as a far flying comet. In truth, it is not for Me - whom you have trodden underfoot with neglect - for whom you fear, but for yourselves and your works. For what can the students do when they have destroyed their classroom? Yet that which is threatened is suddenly appreciated! So many of you return to My Nature and seek my initiation. Know that heaven and the stars are without, but they are also within Me and within Yourselves! My Inner Sun shines radiantly as my heart's love, and in the depths My Holy Centres glow with myriad ever-changing colours. These are guarded by the two-coiled fiery Dragon-Goddess Tiamat. The first quest to be undertaken by the seeker is not without but within My Being. For within are all your lost treasures, the records of your past lives. The pilgrim soul may through Me live again through each stage of evolving consciousness, as does a child within the womb.

Descend into the Abyss, but only with My Vocation. Without My unmistakable call you will surely perish from fear! Bring with you the Lamp of Truth, and in your hearts love for even those of my children who appear to you as terrible of aspect. You will face and pass through molten sulphurous green lakes, rivers of fire and finally, face all-revealing Light. Know that in My womb rests the lost paradise you seek, and within it is the Tree. The time comes to each of you when the forbidden fruit is freely given to you. And the gifts thereof give you knowledge of past epochs and the rise and fall of planets and the realization of your own latent divinity. Yet even knowledge is not enough. For wisdom to be won you must taste of the ever-renewing Tree of creative Love. Come to Me without fear, but only when I call you Home.

Oracle: The Goddess Uzume

Invocation:
Holy Goddess Uzume, Who brought life through laughter to a dying people and a dying land, restore us who see before us only lingering death. We have lost faith in our own immortality.

Oracle:
Starve yourself of joyful movement and you lose the ever-encircling stars that move through your own bodies, joining atom to atom. The harmony of music travels through mighty constellations, and yet delights also the cricket on the hearth! The myriad colours of stars and planets are echoed in small wild flowers and delight small blue birds in rosy peach blossoms. You are blind on a planet of vision: deaf in a sphere of music: and walk with steps lumbered with cares – while all around you is Paradise.

I bring the arts of Noh, of acting with comedy and tragedy, portrayed in legends that speak to your souls. I dance upon the stormy waves of the ocean and enchant you from the white-faced moon. Eternity is within you. A small insect – a dragonfly – may awaken your sleeping divinity.
